Bhubaneswar District BJP Family Members of Laxmikant Behera and Biswajit Mohanty Arrested on Viral Audio Charges should be Released Immediately: Babu Singh

Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Jemma Jena, 11/08/2020:  Has anyone in Bhubaneswar been given the freedom to speak? The issue’s end has the recaptured Doomsday in the control of the BJP again and again. The BJP and the BJP will continue to stand by their side until justice is done and the actions of the BMC and the police administration are so reprehensible to the families involved. Whoever is telling the truth, or who is blaming the government for the weakness, is being arrested by the state government, which is creating a climate of fear by arresting them. Laxmikant Behera and Biswajit Mohanty, who was arrested yesterday on charges of viral audio related to Covid’s management disorder, have been arrested. A BJP delegation led by Bhubaneswar district BJP president Babu Singh met the family members of Laxmikant Behera to discuss the incident. The family members told the delegation that they were in a lot of grief and pain. It is unfortunate that the audio was not virtualized with any malicious intent or the state government arrested and tortured them unspeakably after telling the truth. Mr. Singh demanded the immediate release of the two men arrested yesterday. “It is highly reprehensible for the police to pick up the two men from their homes on the 9th and call them for questioning at 12 pm,” Mr. Singh said. Police said in a press release that the two men had been arrested yesterday. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. However, the issue’s end has the recaptured Doomsday in the control of the BMC and the Bhubaneswar administration. There is nothing in the audio clip that will create an atmosphere of fear in society. Listen carefully to the viral audio clip and understand what it means to have two people arrested. The people of Bhubaneswar will never forgive such a monotonous regime. Mr. Singh strongly condemned the administration’s aggressive actions against the general public and such actions by the BMC and the police. A few days ago, a BJP delegation visited the Harinagar slum and met the slum dwellers. They are suffering from mental illness due to misinformation by the BMC. No action has yet been taken by the administration in this regard. But why was action taken today when ordinary people spoke out about the corona disorder? Singh questioned whether anyone in Bhubaneswar was allowed to speak. The district BJP has strongly condemned the activities of the BMC and the police in the incident and the BJP will stand with their families until justice is done and the BJP will continue to speak out against injustice, Mr. Singh said. The delegation included BJP state spokesperson Dilip Mohanty and Jagannath Pradhan.
