BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED AT INDO-SWISS TRAINING CENTRE, CSIR- CSIO CHANDIGARH

Chandigarh: INDO-SWISS TRAINING CENTRE, CSIR-CSIO CHANDIGARH ALONG WITH THE STATE BANK OF INDIA ORGANIZED A BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSFUSION  MEDICINE, PGIMER, CHANDIGARH HERE AT ISTC CAMPUS ON 05th MARCH, 2020. THE CAMP WAS  INAUGRATED BY DR. H. K. SARDANA, CHIEF SCIENTIST, CSIR-CSIO. THE MANAGER SBI- SEC 30 BRANCH, SMT. NEHA SHARMA ALSO GRACED THE OCASSION WITH HER PRESENCE. APPROXIMATELY 80 UNITS OF BLOOD WERE COLLECTED DURING THE CAMP.

MR. NARINDER SINGH JASSAL PRINCIPAL – ISTC APPLAUDED THE EFFORTS OF THE STAFF AND THE STUDENTS FOR MAKING THE EVENT REMARKABLE. THE REFRESHMENTS WERE SERVED TO THE DONORS. SHRI HARICHAND SINGH COORDINATOR OF THE BLOOD DONATION CAMP INFORMED THAT ISTC HAS BEEN ORGANIZING THE BLOOD DONATION CAMP TWICE A YEAR SINCE LAST 53 YEARS
