Board of School Education, Haryana Extended the Last Date for Registration for Online Quiz Competition to May 15, 2020.

Chandigarh, May 11 – With the objective of creating awareness among children regarding COVID-19, Board of School Education, Haryana has extended the last date for registration for online quiz competition from May 11, 2020, to May 15, 2020. So far, 1.5 lakh students have already registered online for participating in the competition of which 8,000 students are from other education boards and states.

Giving information about this, an official spokesperson said that apart from students of Board of School Education, Haryana, and students of CBSE, ICSE, or any other board studying in Class VI to XII can apply/ register online to participate in this competition. Those students whose results of Class X and XII are  yet to be announced can also participate, which means that the students of class X will register for Class X and students of class XII will register for Class XII only. With this, students will also gain experience for preparation of taking the online exams.

He further informed that this competition would be organized in three groups; student who bags first prize in each group would be awarded one laptop each.

He said that if student commits any error while applying or registering online then such students will be given another chance. If the students face any problem while applying or registering online then the helpline No. 01664-254601 or WhatsApp No. 8816840349 installed at the Board headquarter should be contacted. He informed that the competition will be organized after the registration and the information about the date and time of the competition will be given to the students through e-mail or text message or through various social media channels.
