Ex-ITBPF officials’ Organized Contact & Idea Exchange Rally

Chandigarh, April 04: To mark its third anniversary, the All India ex-ITBPF Personnel Welfare Association (AIEPWA) organized a contact & idea exchange rally at the 50th Battalion campus, Amritsar on Sunday.

Among others, MS Bhurji, ITBP IG (retd) and AIEPWA president, and Kabal Singh Bajwa IG (retd) and general secretary of association also attended the rally. In the rally the regular members including retired officers the widows and dependents of deceased ITBP Him veers took part.

Formed on April 25, 2018, AIEPWA is a maiden initiative of retired ITBPF personnel, which aims to unite ex-ITBPF Him veers to work constructively in the welfare of their brethren, widows, and dependents to ameliorate their well-being and dignity. The Association is the only national-level organization of ex-ITBPF officials, which includes members of all ranks from all over India.

After the rally, a meeting of members was also held where they were apprised of the government welfare schemes and the initiatives and achievements of the Association,

Meanwhile, during the rally, AIEPWA wished a speedy recovery to Mohinder Singh, ITBP  Commandant (retd), ITBP, and secretary of AIEPWA, Punjab who underwent a surgery for kidney tumor at CMC Ludhiana in December last.
