Free Medical Surgery to Haryanvi Kids upto Age 18 Years

Chandigarh, Sept 12 – Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij, here today said that the State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eight major hospitals to provide cashless surgery and health care to children up to the age of 18 years, living in the State.

The Health Minister said that under the National Child Health Programme, the National Health Mission Haryana has expanded the scope of providing better health facilities to children.

He said that under this Programme, a cashless treatment facility will given to all the children suffering from heart problems, congenital cleft lip/palate, clubfoot, hip dysplasia,congenital deafness, congenital cataract, neural tube defects and retinopathy. He said that the surgeries would also be covered under the cashless treatment.

The Health Minister said that Asian Institute of Medical Sciences Faridabad, QRG Central Hospital and Research Center Faridabad, Sukhda Multispeciality Hospital Hisar, Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Mulana Ambala, Kainos Super Speciality Hospital, Rohtak, Saraswati Mission Hospital Kurukshetra, Ahooja Eye and Dental Institute Gurugram and LHDM Prem Hospital Panipat, have been included under the Child Health Programme.
