Chandigarh/ December 21: Lauding the efforts being done by the Haryana State Council for Child Welfare in organizing a State-Level Bal Mahotsav at Kingdom of Dreams at Gurugram, Haryana Transport Minister, Mr. Mool Chand Sharma announced an amount of Rs 5 lakh for the Council.
The Transport Minister said that the State Level Bal Mahotsav which is being organized by the Haryana State Council for Child Welfare has given a outstanding platform for the children to not only showcase their talent but also spread a message of unity in diversity of culture of the country and the State. He said that this festival is no less than a Maha Kumbh where children from various parts of the State will be showcasing their talent.
The Minister said that the culture of Haryana state has a different identity on the world map. He said that in Haryana after every 20 kilometers, one can see change in culture, dialect and customs and to showcase this Haryana State Council for Child Welfare has organized State Level Bal Mahotsav at Kingdom of Dreams at Gurugram
He said that this festival is a platform that makes children’s imagination come true. He also praised the programs presented by the children and said that on this platform, a presentation related to different cultures of the country is being given.
He also praised the artworks made by the children and said that these artworks is certainly the best way to show the hidden talent and imagination of every child.
Speaking on the occasion, Honorary General Secretary, Haryana State Council for Child Welfare, Mr. Krishan Dhull, said that great enthusiasm for children is being seen at the Mahostav and every day maximum children are reaching here to participate and it is expected that by December 23, about one lakh children will ensure their participation. He said that the world-class platform is being provided to the children by the council to showcase their talent.
Meanwhile, Pataudi MLA Mr. Satya Prakash Jarawta said that it is a matter of pride for that a State- Level Bal Mahotsav is being organized at Gurugram district. He said that this event is extremely important not only for the district of Gurugram but also for the State children. He said that various types of competitions are being organized for children here every day to increase their self-confidence.
GAIL director, Mrs. Banto Devi Kataria said that the Haryana State Child Welfare Council is working for the upliftment of children and society so that children can become educated and have a bright future. In the program, Haryanvi pop singer KD also performed. On this occasion, Divisional Child Welfare Officer Amarnath Narwal, District Child Welfare Officer Narendra Malik and Child Welfare Officers from various districts were present.
