Haryana’s State-Level Bal Mahotsav being organized at Gurugram

Chandigarh, December 22: Lauding the efforts being done by the Haryana State Council for Child Welfare for organizing a State-Level Bal Mahotsav being organized at the Kingdom of Dreams,  Gurugram, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Gian Chand Gupta announced an amount of Rs 5 lakh for the Council.

While, addressing the people present after inaugurating the fourth day of the Bal Mahotsav, today he said that the Haryana State Council for Child Welfare has given an outstanding platform for the children to not only showcase their talent but also spread a message of unity in diversity of culture of the country and the State. He said that through this festival, children are getting an opportunity to know about the culture of our country and society.

Lauding the cultural programs presented by the children, he said that the programs presented here are showing the best example of unity in the diversity of  India.

He said that various types of artworks related to the culture have been presented at the Bal Mahotsav are highly commendable. He said that the world-class platform is being provided to the children by the council to showcase their talent.

He said that it is a matter of pride for the State that not only the children coming from urban areas, but the rural area children have also participated enthusiastically in the Bal Mahotsav.

He called upon the children to say that they should adopt sports in their life because playing sports ensures their physical and mental development.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal,  Haryana has excelled in sports and had marked it places both nationally and internationally.

He expressed his best wishes for the successful organization of Bal Mahotsav.

Chairperson, Haryana Khadi and Gram Udyog Board, Mrs. Gargi Kakkar, also participated in the function held today and extended her best wishes to the organizers.

 She also praised the presentations made by the children on stage and said that this type of festival boosts confidence and morale among children. She said that every parent should encourage their children to participate in such functions.

Honorary General Secretary, Haryana State Council for Child Welfare, Mr. Krishan Dhull,  said that the children participate in the Mahotsav is more than the expectation.

Describing the event as a success, he gave his best wishes to the children.  He said that this festival has been specially organized for children, in such a large number of children’s participation shows the successful event of this festival.

          On this occasion, Divisional Child Welfare Officer Amarnath Narwal, District Child Welfare Officer Mr.  Narendra Malik, Divisional Child Welfare Officer, Mr.  Amarnath Narwal and Child Welfare Officers from various districts were present.
