Haryana’s State-Level Livestock Show from March 13, 2020 to March 15, 2020 in Karnal

Chandigarh, March 12 – Haryana, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying is organizing a State-Level Livestock Show from March 13, 2020, to March 15, 2020, at Mela Ground, NDRI, Karnal.

Giving information in this an official spokesman said that the show will be inaugurated by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat on March 13, 2020, at 11 am. Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal will be the Chief Guest for the “Cattle Ramp Show” on March 14, 2020. Union Animal Husbandry Minister Dr. Sanjeev Balyan will be the chief guest on the occasion of the prize distribution and closing ceremony of the Livestock Show on March 15, 2020. Haryana Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister, Mr. J.P. Dalal will be present for all three days and other State Cabinet Ministers will also be participating in the event as the guest of honor.

The foremost objective to organize this Livestock Show is to generate awareness among farmers to rear quality animals, to disseminate latest scientific Animal Husbandry techniques to the livestock owners in order to achieve optimum growth in the sector, said the spokesman. He said there will be technical seminars and workshops having a focus on Animal Husbandry and Dairying for which eminent speakers from respective fields are being invited to deliver topic-wise lectures. Further, best achievers or leaders in their respective fields will share their experiences on the occasion.

The spokesman also said that the show will also present the latest innovations and new technologies and would offer the opportunity to interact with farmers, public sector undertakings and entrepreneurs from various countries and states. He also said that Haryana had bagged the Global Agriculture Award, 2019 under the best Animal Husbandry State.
