Chandigarh, December 3 – The trend of high growth in the State GST revenue of Haryana continues for the fifth month in a row in the current financial year. The State GST revenue has recorded a growth rate of 33.5 percent in November, 2019 over the corresponding month of the previous ﬁnancial year.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Excise and Taxation Department said that the overall growth of the State in the last ﬁve months of the current ﬁnancial year in State GST is 31.15 percent over the corresponding ﬁve months of the previous ﬁnancial year.
He said that the State has also recorded a high jump in the collections under all the Acts of the GST in the month of November, 2019. The overall collection under all Acts of GST from the State stood at Rs. 5904.56 crores in the month of November, 2019 against the collection of Rs. 4678.53 crore in November, 2018 recording a growth of 26.2 percent. The growth rate of 26.2 percent of the State under all Acts of GST is against a national growth rate of 5.9 percent in November 2019.
He said that the return compliance of the State of the return ﬁling month of November was 78.13 percent up to November 30, 2019, against the national percentage of 74.17 percent.
