Khalsa College, Mohali Celebrated International Women’s Day

Chandigarh, Mohali, March 5, 2021: Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies, Phase 3A, organized International Women’s Day on the theme ‘Role of Women in various fields and Societies’ in collaboration with the Association of Girls Rise for Mohali (GRM). Women from various fields reached in the program were especially honored and the role of women etc. was discussed in detail on International Women’s Day.

On this occasion, Upinderpreet Kaur Gill, founder of the Girls Rise for Mohali was present, besides renowned dramatist Anita Shabdish, social activist and educationist Surjit Kaur, Social Worker and former DPR Mohali Dr. Uma Sharma, Saint Kabir Foundation MD, and Chairperson Renu Kakkar were
honored by the college’s Principal Dr. Harish Kumari with a memento.

Dr. Kumari said that International Women’s Day is celebrated all over the world. The role of women is important in the development of society, and respect for them is very important. We should be proud of their tremendous success in every field.
