LADHAKI STUDENTS Interact / Dance with British school students under Indian army  “Operation Sadbhavna”

Chandigarh/ On 14 January 2020: The British School Chandigarh organized an interactive cum educational seminar in collaboration with the Indian army under ‘Operation Sadbhavna’ in which school welcomed captain Vikas Sangwan accompanied by 3 army officials 15 students from Ladakh with 3 teachers. Operation sadbhavana aims to motivate the local populace, youth and children of Jammu and Kashmir to join the mainstream and be an important link in nation-building. The school organized a special educational cum cultural program for the guests from Ladakh. The program commenced with a heart-warming welcome followed by an enthusiasm workshop conducted by G.Gopala Krishna Murthy on ‘converting stress to smile’. 

Further to brighten up and to build strong humble relationship students of the British school and guest students tapped their feet on various Punjabi bhangra songs and the high moment was when students from both the sides dance on traditional ladakhi songs. The entire interaction was a resolve to come closer to the populace and develop a bond of mutual faith and trust as such endeavors only widen the horizon of the students enlightening them also about various avenues of success that they can pursue.
