MOU Signed Between Haryana Technical Education Department and Maruti Udyog To Generate Young Employment

Chandigarh/ March 3 – Haryana Technical Education Minister Mr. Anil Vij said that a memorandum of understanding has been signed with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Gurugram to provide technical education to the youths which will give them more employment opportunities. Under this, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Tool and Die-Design has been introduced at the Government Polytechnic Education Society Manesar.

                     In the presence of Mr. Vij, today the MoU was signed by Director-General, Technical Education, Mr. Ajit Balaji Joshi, and Mr. Manoj Aggarwal, Executive-Vice President of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Gurugram. On this occasion, Principal Secretary of the department Ankur Gupta, Director KK Kataria and General Manager of Maruti Suzuki India Limited were also present.

                   The Minister said that with this agreement, their Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in Tool and Die-Design at the Government Polytechnic Education Society Manesar will be started from 2020-21, which will have 60 seats. He said that apart from this the department and Maruti Suzuki India Limited will work together for ensuring better career avenues for the students. Maruti Suzuki will also facilitate the training and placements of the students with the help of technically advance machinery and equipment.
