Odisha, Bhubaneswar, 13/05/2020: N.S.S. Bureau Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha in collaboration with UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) organized orientation programmed online for Programme Officers and Volunteers. They have focused on symptoms, transmission, types of hand washing, social distancing, and use of mask, social stigma, and prevention and precaution measures. Also volunteers have been orienting about the risk of violence at home during lockdown. Volunteers may perform their role by helping the high risk groups (Senior Citizen) by providing any essential items from market as social service. They have been clearly aware to obey the instruction of Govt.  389 N.S.S (National Service Scheme) volunteers and Programme Officers have attended the video conference across the State. Dr. Deepak Satpathy and Dr. Sushanta Panda from UNFPA were the resource persons and WHO not any other sources to avoid fake news. They have been asked to register in COVID Sangramee/ COVID Warrior as a result they may be required by district administration. The entire online class covered 30 Districts of Odisha’s N.S.S. units coming under C.H.S.E. The entire programme nicely co-ordianted by Dr. Deepak Kumar Behera, Programme Co-ordinator N.S.S., C.H.S.E, Odisha
