Chandigarh, October 17 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal inaugurated the new building of Alternative Dispute Redressal (ADR) Centre at Karnal today. Constructed at a cost of Rs 1.47 crore, the two storied building would have the facility of two halls, staff room, separate hall for Lok Adalat, mediation room, library and toilet.
With the inauguration of this building, the number of ADR Centre in the State has reached to 15. This Center would further strengthen the judicial system as it would provide easy, economical and prompt justice to the people. Karnal has been declared as Smart City under a scheme of Central government and it would be developed as per the guidelines of the Central Government.
When asked to comment on the completion of one year tenure of present State government on October 26, 2015, the Chief Minister said that during this period of about one year, the State government has implemented a number of decisions to bring about a positive change in the system and added that the people are quite satisfied with the functioning of the government. A special campaign would be launched throughout the State from October 20 to apprise the people about the one year achievements of the present State government and various new initiatives taken for the welfare of people.
