President’s Police Medal: 13 Police officers and officials Selected

Chandigarh, Aug 14 – On the eve of Independence Day, 13 Police officers and officials have been selected for President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

          While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Police Department said that Dr. B.K. Sinha, DG Home Guards, Civil Defence, Haryana, and Incharge Bhondsi Complex and Mr. Subhash Chander, Sub-Inspector Panchkula has been selected to be awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service whereas 11 others have been selected to be decorated with Police Medal for Meritorious service.

          Those who have been selected to be decorated with Police Medal for Meritorious Service include Mr. Veer Singh, DSP, Pataudi, Gurugram, Mr. Om Parkash, DSP Panchkula, Sh. Anil Kumar, Inspector Madhuban, Karnal, Mr Sarwan Kumar, Inspector, Panchkula, Mr Vikas, Inspector, Ambala Cantt, Mrs Laly Varghese, Lady Inspector, Gurugram, Mr Parkash Chand, Sub-Inspector, Faridabad, Mr Varinder Kumar, Sub-Inspector, State Vigilance Bureau, Panchkula, Mr Ram Partap, Exemptee Sub-Inspector, Panchkula, Mr Suman Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Panchkula, Mr Ravinder Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Gurugram.

          Meanwhile, Director General of Police, Mr. Manoj Yadava congratulated all the Police Officers and officials who have been selected to be decorated with Police Medals on the occasion of Independence Day.  It is a great honor for the entire Police force. The recognition of their tireless and relentless efforts at the national level would go a long way to further boost their morale as well as of others in the state police force, added the DGP.
