Chandigarh/ December 01, 2019: 6th GTA Cup Open Taekwondo Championship 2019 – 20 organized by Emerald Martial Arts concluded at Carmel Convent School in Sector 9 here. The championship was held under the guidance of Master Shiv Raj Gharti. Players who participated were in the age group of 4 to 17.
After the championship, an award ceremony was organized in which the championship toppers were awarded gold, silver, bronze medals by 5th Dan Black Belt Master Shiv Raj Gharti and 2nd Dan Black Belt Kavita Rai. The players who won the championship in the championship were awarded a total prize amount of one lakh rupees.
Emerald Martial Arts gave a Flash Mob performance on the occasion by performing the martial arts with music winning applause from the audience.
Master Shiva Raj Gharti and Kavita Rai said on the occasion that about 600 participants from different states across the country participated enthusiastically in the Taekwondo Championship. They said Emerald Martial Arts has been organizing such events for the last 5 years and will continue to organize such events in the future as well. The purpose of the championship was to provide a better platform for young and talented players. They said the game teaches discipline to the person and instills confidence in.

In the under 4 to 7 age group girls: Aradhya Singh won gold, Aabhya won silver, Rhea won bronze, in the same age group boys category, Ahan Chugh won gold, Kapish Sachdeva won silver and Aradhya Bhandari won bronze. Achieved it.
In the sub-junior category, girls in the age group of 8 to 11, Prayagya Sama won gold, Anika Thakur won silver, Ada Bedi won bronze. In this category, in boys, Arnav Bansal won gold, Sudeep Barotia won silver, Sambhav Kohli won bronze.
In the Challenge Cup championship, for both boys and girls, Kashvi Jaswal won the Sub Junior girls category and Vivaan Sangwan won in the boy’s category.
